Hi I'm Aspie Giraffe, I have drawn cartoons since I was in year 4, it all started with a drawing book, a rainy day and a gold gel pen and I was hooked, my first cartoon was called Puffy and since then I have expanded to over 50 different characters. By the way, I have Aspergers Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder, which means that I am not very social, a little eccentric, pretty smart, very unique, and I have trouble reading people. I consider AS to be a blessing because otherwise I wouldn't have the talents and abilities that I have, of course everything has not always been rosy, there have been some very trying times,and a long period of misdiagnosis from anxiety disorder to OCD to epilepsy and a few other in between. And because of all this I want to spread awareness of autism spectrum disorders and help to prevent others from going around in circles, frustrated with diagnosis and as one psychologist said "fitting in here, but not there, pretty much this, except this part". So please enjoy my cartoons, spread awareness and hope, and share ideas and thoughts with me and others.

I  also happen to be writing a book(or a series) about Aspergers, for both kids and the grown-ups using my cartoons, so keep and eye and ear out
